About
Hailing from the vibrant coastal city of Barranquilla, Colombia, Alexander Gentil is a DJ, producer, and entrepreneur now based in New York City. Known for his experimental electronic productions, Alexander blends his Colombian roots with the pulse of NYC’s club scene, crafting sets that captivate dance floors. His work spans collaborations with Latin Grammy-winning artist Mireya Ramos, engineering and recording for dembow artist El Cherry Scom, and remixing rare hidden gems by Craig Richards’ little-known alias, Scumdolly. He has shared stages with influential figures like Carl Craig, DJ Tennis, and Serge Devant. Alexander also released his own vinyl album, Raw Planet on his label Errant Recordings a project infused with diversity, experimentation, and modern technological advances. Constantly evolving, he continues to push sonic boundaries and bridge cultures through sound.
